Diablo 2 Character Builds

This page gives some of my more famous character builds. I present these builds as a good starting point and please understand that these are not perfect, nor are they what every player should live by. Instead have fun, and creat some of your own character builds, see how they work. And of course if you have any interesting ones i have not listed and would like posted just give me a e-mail at towert7@attbi.com and your name and i will consider them for induction. Thanks

Sorceress-
Cold/Lightning
lvl 20: Frozen Orb, Thunder Storm, Lightning Mastary
lvl 6 Ice Mastary
lvl 1: Frozen Armor, Teleport, Energy Shield
lvl 7 Static Field
lvl 10 Warmth
lvl 1 for all other requirements
Info:

This build will make a very good lvl 85 cow killer. And also a very good magic find/dueling sorceress. This type of sor is one of the most independent characters possible. One of the only characters that can solo all the way to hell cows.

A good act2 healing mercinary, holy freez, or act5 barbarian are good for game play, but die quite often in the cow level. When you get to the cow level I sugguest getting a act3 cold mercinary. They hardly die.

A variation of this is quite simple. Replace the lvl 20 thunder storm with a lvl 20 nova. Doing this will give you 1 extra point, and if u decide not to use energy shield then you can even save 5 skill points which might be good in warmth or static field.

Tip: It is always a good idea to have a few +skills with a sor without scrificing too much.

Necromancer-
Summining Necro
lvl 20: Bone spirit, Iron Maiden
lvl 1 Bone Armor
lvl 14 Skeleton Mastery
lvl 6 Golem Mastery
lvl 4 Summon Resist
lvl 8 Fire Golem
lvl 10 Revive
lvl 1 for all other requirements
Info:

This build will make a very good lvl 85 game play necro. The main idea behind this necro is to make a lot of minions, curse the enermy with iron maiden and have the enermy kill them self. The firegolem will also be a very good killer, and with a lvl 14 skeleton mastery your revives will also stand their ground. Also the lvl 20 bone spirit is a very good skill for dueling, but if you do plan on dueling i suggest putting at least 1 point in bone wall. I recomend Getting eaither a act2 healing or holy freez mercinary.

Tip: A necro does not use melee attacks for fighting, instead he lets his minnions do the work, so in that case a necro does not need high defense or a lot of resistences. Instead consider things that add +skills. A necro with this build that has +7 skills will be a lot better off.

Poison/Summining Necro
lvl 20: Poison Nova, Corpse Explosion, Lower Resist
lvl 1: Bone Armor, Skeleton Mastery, Revive
lvl 6 Fire Golem
lvl 5 Golem Mastery
lvl 4 Summon Resist
lvl 1 for all other requirements
Info:

This build will make a very good lvl 85 cow killer and dueler. This necro's stratergy is to have a few minions, with a fire golem, cast lower resist and then use poison nova. After a enermy dies use corpse explosion to kill all other enermys. This is also a very good cow killer because you can stay by another person and just use corpse explosion. I recommend using eaither a act2 healing or thorns mercinary.

Note: To get the full effect of this build try and get as much +skills as you can.

Druid-
Elementalist
lvl 20: Armageddon, Hurricane, Tornado, Oak Sage
lvl 3 Carrion Vine
lvl 2 Cyclone Armor
lvl 1 for all other requirements
Info:

With this build you will have a good lvl 80 Fire, Ice, and Physical Elementalist. As of v1.09 this durid's damage is very weak, people think that v1.10 will really increase them or lower their casting delays. The main strategy to this build is to have eaither arageddon or hurricane going and use tornado. A good mercinary with an elementalist is eaither a act2 healing or holy freez. Also a act3 cold or act5 is also possible.

Note: As with any character that relys on their skills it's always a good idea to have as much +skills ad possible.

WereWolf
lvl 20: Oak Sage, Werewolf, Lycanthropy, Fury
lvl 8 Cyclone Armor
lvl 5 Carrion Vine
lvl 1 for all other requirements
Info:

This will make a very good lvl 85 dueling and lvl'ing druid. They only problem will be with physical immune monsters. To combat this you will need to eaither have a weapon with alot of elemental damage or alot of elemental charms. The main idea is to use a weapon with as much damage as possible. The druid has the special ability of using some two handed weapons such as a Bill or War Scythe with extreme speed. Make use of this increased speed because when your in werewolf form you will want as much increased speed as possible. A good mercinary is the act2 might mercinary.

A variation of this build is replace the lvl 20 Oak Sage with a lvl 20 Heart of Wolverine. By doing this you will have to sacrifice 1 skill point from something like Cyclone Armor and the 135% extra life. But the result will be a drastic increase in attack rating and damage.

WereBear
lvl 20: Werebear, Oak Sage, Lycanthropy, Maul
lvl 10 Shock Wave
lvl 5 Carrion Vine
lvl 1 for all other requirements
Info:

This will make a very good lvl 85 game play druid. The bear is not as quick as the wolf but is more capable because of it's increased damage, defense, and life. Also don't over look shock wave, it can be a very good skill for crowd control. A good mercinary to compliment this build is the act2 might mercinary.

A variation of this build is replace the lvl 20 Oak Sage with a lvl 20 Heart of Wolverine. By doing this you will have to sacrifice 1 skill point from something like Shock Wave and the 135% extra life. But the result will be a drastic increase in attack rating and damage.

Once again, if you have any good builds feel free to e-mail them to me with your name, and i will consider posting them on my website. Thanks
